Sorry if this should be posted in an existing thread. I gave it a good hour of looking around for an apropirate thread, but I didn't see much in the way of device questions in the android thread. Background: The phone is a stock verizon SCH-I525 V, 32GB model. Not unlocked. No custom ROM. After letting it sit in a drawer for maybe a year or so I took out the battery and fully charged it in a wall charger that I have. When I start up the phone in "recovery" or "bootloader" mode it has the same error. The display goes all squiggly (for lack of a better description) and then simply shuts down. Doesn't even restart. I don't expect anyone to say "oh here's how you fix it", and I'm not super worried about fixing the phone (though that'd be wonderful). I'm more curious if anyone has ever seen anything like this or happens to know what the crap could be causing this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hABX58ciZIw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rsCYZKmAXA
