Scipio Stonehands

With a Librarian's discipline, Scipio stood at stiff attention throughout the briefing. Clearly, this was not a commander who believed in strength of camaraderie. He only allowed himself the relative relaxation of a parade rest once the scarred captain stomped from the briefing room, and studied the tactical readout in more detail.

"What do you think, brothers? The Orks, I suspect, will be little threat once we overcome their leaders' retinues. Cut off the head, and the body kills itself trying to grow a new one. The Tau are another matter. They are an army, not a horde; but that is also their weakness. We should review likely targets of opportunity, so that we can disrupt their command structure and supply lines. We are here to support the Guard's efforts, after all."

"Regardless, our enemies lack our superior physiology. We should bring haywire weapons to negate whatever environmental protections they are employing. We may also consider specialized ammunition for en mass combat situations, considering the presence of Orks."

---

After conferring with the rest of the kill-team and drawing his equipment, Scipio retreats to one of his more favored locations in which to meditate. While he would normally walk the great ossuaries, today he feels the need to contemplate the ever shifting lethality of the station's outer wards. Who but one of the Emperor's Praetorians could appreciate such a defense? It encapsulates the role of the Librarian, assaulting not only the bodies, but the minds of the xeno, while leaving the righteous untouched.

Scipio Stonehands

For a soldier from a chapter of siege experts on the way to a fortification, the librarian was strangely reticent during transit. Whether he is meditating, praying or simply prefers silence before a mission, he finally speaks up when the conversation turns to the target. "I'm afraid I can't offer much on what defenses we'll see. Orcs don't follow any logical doctrine, they simply sink as many weapons into the ground as they can."

He lifts his hand, which is now glowing with subdued white fire. Tellingly, no inexplicable frosts or strange echoes accompany the use of his gift. "We'll have to make it up as we go along."

Scipio, dude, what do you know about half built Orky Forts?
Tactics (Defensive Doctrine) vs 39: 1d100 61
bro why

Also, Scipio will be doing Invocation prayers until he's got it down, then a fettered Ironarm, which works out to PR3. I can roll for that if you really want me to.
