God that was the most hyped I've been since Jailbreak. That entire fight sequence was amazing. And I audibly groaned when the preview only said "Continues" without at least giving a general idea of when.

Man, the scene on Back to the Moon where the Rubies are talking about Pink's shattering and Pearl's just totally losing it and covering her mouth has serious context in retrospect now, I'm not usually a HUGE rewatch guy but man picking up small beats like this show how well planned out this show has been, this episode aired in 2016 and it's giving away stuff not aired for like 3 years later...

The movie ruled, but I'll say for a musical and a movie that's been pushed unlike anything I've seen on Cartoon Network in years, I can't name a single song from it that I'd put in my top 5 from this show. Stronger than You, Here Comes a Thought, Do it For Her, It's Over, Isn't It?, and Strong in the Real Way all rank well beyond what the movie gave to me. Maybe I'd have appreciated True Kinda Love if I hadn't been hearing it every 15 minutes for the past 3 days...
