I count like 8 different pokemon I have to use just out of the things that have already been revealed Meanwhile in my replay of Y I 'm restricting myself to not using any pokemon I've ever used before and apparently I've used like 70% of the cool things because I'm 4 badges in and only have a team of 5.

If they give you a way to change the nature and ability of a pokemon and teach it egg moves somehow then there will be literally no reason to not battle with the friends you made during your journey (assuming of course you have the good taste to make friends with strong species)

The display messages for SE/NVE were hosed up and only reported the move's effectiveness against the opponent's first type. The damage calculations in the background were fine but you'd get stuff like ice beam saying it isn't very effective against charizard. I could see that leading to some misunderstanding.

A lot of the gen I dual types are really unexpected from their designs honestly. Like why is bulbasaur part poison? Why is onix part ground? Why is every bird flying/normal? Fish are "normal" and they get pure water instead of water/normal. Don't even get me started on why Golduck isn't part psychic.

Pure dragon is a pretty good defensive typing, and before fairies dragon was a good but not insane offensive type (rarely SE, but also rarely NVE). Defensively though all the good dragons get saddled with poo poo like flying or ground Where's my non-mega non-legendary fire/dragon who doesn't look like the world's spikiest turtle?
