Speaking of Lio, I'm catching up on last week's NXT and they announce him as from District of Columbia, while Velveteen Dream they announce as from Washington, DC. Thought it was a weird distinction, the only thing I can think of to make it not be quite so obvious that they trained together and such.

hi i'm just now catching up on NXT starting from four weeks ago and I would like to apologize for this post; Ohno/Aichner from the 9/27 episode was as good as a 6 minute TV match with a relative unknown could be, holy hell (also uh sorry about the OP I'll try to get a new thread up before War Games  )I thought the main of Cole/Young was also decent if a bit short, as if something got edited out. It was weird how EY got so much offense only to get taken down in one hit. I also realized that I think it was the first time I'd actually seen Cole wrestle? Really enjoyed this week's episode. I thought the women's match was the highlight, with Ember and Ruby kicking rear end and Sonya having probably her best showing to date. Black got his poo poo in and hit another stepping stone with Dream, which continues to be a shockingly compelling feud. Main event was just kinda there and only existed to set up AoP's return, but it was fun and did a good job setting up what's coming next.

The AoP return was loving awesome. I haven't been the biggest fan of them, but keeping them off of TV since Takeover and returning this way was pretty drat perfect. Pretty sure I audibly yelled out "OH poo poo" when their music hit. I wonder if Aleister and Dream will wind up teaming in the Dusty Classic, if it happens again? I can't tell what's going to be the thing that finally tips this into a feud – just Dream continually poking at him, or being forced together as a team in the tournament before imploding.
