if you're using God's own browser, Safari on Mac, you can't block images loaded from CSS so just add https://forums.somethingawful.com/css/forums.css to your blacklist if you're on mobile then haha gently caress you I guess GJ smythe who needs battery life anyway, why not add a bitcoin miner script to the css while youre at it
