Didn't a lot of people make the exact same argument about voting against Obama? I could swear there was a lot of noise about people being afraid of looking racist for voting against the black guy and nothing came of it.

Many Clinton supporters are reluctant to admit they're supporting her as well. It roughly cancels out. This phenomenon was considered very heavily in 2008. People were wondering if Obama would severely underperform his polling numbers because people might not say they were voting against him, out of fear of appearing racist. Polls ended up being spot on though. This phenomenon is the reason why Clinton's numbers swell after a bad news cycle for Trump and Trump's numbers swell after a bad news cycle for Clinton. Each side is more likely to report their vote to pollsters when the narrative in the news is being kind to their candidate. People's minds aren't actually changing though, or at least very few are.

Trump is not going to win Colorado. Democratic EVs were up ~33,000 over GOP, and traditionally Republicans outnumber Democrats in the early vote there.

2 NH polls today showing a slight Trump lead. This one is supposedly a decent pollster: Our new NH poll for @WBUR: Trump 40% Clinton 39% Johnson 10% Stein 3% . Ayotte 51% Hassan 45% 10/29-11/1

Suffolk U just came out and has them tied (and only 5% for Johnson). Are either of these the one that had Hillary up 15 like two weeks ago? E: apparently they had her up 2 earlier in October so who knows Badger of Basra has issued a correction as of 19:56 on Nov 3, 2016 |
