Being drunk is pretty fun if you can afford it all the time If you have stuff more fun than being drunk to do during the day then yes sobriety is fun Otherwise no it is not and you should have like eight vodka and Sam's Choice colas.

ive been sober for about 2.5 years now and i can say... its good for me. but i also got so drunk once i poo poo and barfed all over a friend's kitchen and then slept in the poop and barf, so ymmv

It's acceptable.  Morally speaking it's pretty wrong but from the practical standpoint it's healthier, cheaper, and less embarrassing to maintain. Waking up feeling ok is pretty swell too, though that"s merely a side effect.

If you think about it there's a ton more chemicals that get you hosed up than that make you sober. Booze, weed, meth, yay yay, jenke, the old fuckin dad gay huff huff. The list goes on endlessly, we even have a forum to discuss them. What makes you sober? Like a shitton of water maybe? Do we have a sober forum? Basically my point is, if we're supposed to be better off sober, it's not made particularly easy for us.

I tried sobriety for a year. I slept like poo poo every night and it turned out alcohol was the only thing keeping my anxiety away. So, rather than taking a different set of drugs to then deal with the anxiety, I started drinking again (in moderation). Thanks alcohol!
