I didn't care for Gundam Seed a lot. Most of it was really boring for a long time with like Mu and Flay being the only characters I enjoyed following. Mu being a pretty good mentor character who was the only loving character with a sense of humor in this space soap opera and Flay was the most soap opera of them all to the point where she became endearing and actually become one of the only characters in the show with proper development. Rau ended up joining my liked characters near the end because his va sold everything so well and he finally started doing stuff. Diarka and Ramius were alright, but I wasn't like relying on them to carry me through the show because they interacted with a lot of pretty unbearable characters like Yzak and the entire Earth Federation respectively. A big problem I have watching this show is so many characters are either aggressively unlikeable or nothing, there's not much middle ground. The actual conflict wasn't very engaging either and the show is just super up its own rear end with stock footage and flashbacks and the fact this show had the loving nerve to put two recap episodes back to back is insane. Also leaving Kira's fate after his fight with Athrun halfway into the show in a manga is loving dumb. I've heard Astray is good though and Lowe seems cool so I will read that at some point. I will probably catch up on IBO as my next Gundam thing, but I'm gonna watch the new JoJo stuff first.
