The premiere pulled a 1.1 last night. Not great, but it's apparently a little bit better than what that timeslot has been doing for ABC these last few years.

Hopefully the by the book procedures is because the new director, who is apparently a comics character from the 40s, is actually Horton's Synthetic Man from the first Captain America movie. It would certainly be a way to tie in the AIDA plotline.

Based on Claire having just left her job in Daredevil season 2 and the December date on the dash cam footage in Luke Cage, it seems it's still set in late last year, which was pre-Civil War. Iron Fist seems like it might be the first series set post-Sokovia.

Seems like a huge step down. If this was going to TV, really felt like this should have been a property saved for HBO, Amazon or Netflix.
