There's a "why was your day awesome today" thread, and sometimes things don't fit into the First World Problems thread. For example: Currently I am on a train and this OBESE lady in a skirt and one of those cut up shirts where there's horizontal cuts. It's supposed to be sexy. Anyways as soon as she walks in comes the smell. It is a combination of literal poo poo, rotten yeast, rotten cheese, and some type of sour... Something. I'm 15 feet away and can smell it. I have had to put my shirt over my nose and I look like a weirdo.  This is a complaining and whining safe space , so don't come in being like, "u shouldn't complain." Because then I will complain about you. don't tell other people they're stupid, what they're complaining about is stupid, etc., this is a safe space.For example, this = no Metal Geir Skogul posted:$400 for a car cleaning lolwut. I'm a history major, I shouldn't be phased by indecipherable handwriting. Turns out my professor's handwriting is harder to read than most of the Baroque poo poo I'm used to and now I don't know what he wants of me, and I'm too lazy to ask

I got a call at 1230am to come in at 4am to cover some useless gently caress who didn't show, and was told it's my fault if I don't get enough sleep. When I showed up at 4am, I found out the guy had shown up at 1am and no one called to tell me. I still went to work at 8 but boy did I not give a gently caress today.

For some reason I can't stop being reminded of my dead ex who committed suicide years ago but was really the love of my life. Last sunday I accidentally killed a lizard while moving the lawn. I cut off most of its tail and a leg and cut its belly open so some of its intestines were hanging out. It was writhing in pain and staring right at me. I still feel real lovely about it.

I found out I didn't get a job I was sure I had locked down. They decided to put the position on hold. Not the worst news ever, since they clearly loved me but have a different need at this time, but it's still disappointing. Worse, I haven't been as productive as I could have at my current job because a) I hate it, and b) I really thought I would get this other job. But, 55% of my stocks vest at the end of the year and I can suck it up for three more months. It's pretty awful here but if I lock myself in my office, keep to myself, and just do my work, I may be able to make it.

I didn't notice GBS was gone. Man. Back to topic. I work for someone who takes the opportunity to absolutely lose their composure at the slightest mistake, missed instruction, etc. I am looking for work but every drat day is "When is the lecture coming?" It's a small shop and I swear that she believes that employees are to be treated as invaders. They are to be identified an attacked constantly until they leave. In talking about a job they first got about a decade ago she described it as happening "Many employees ago"

I threw my back out a few weeks ago. It mostly feels better now, except whenever I try to get even a moderate amount of exercise or try to get back into my routine in general, it starts hurting again. This morning I went for a short jog and carried some groceries a few blocks, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary, and now it's seven pm and my back is killing me. I just want it to heal. I can feel myself getting soft(er), and I hate that I have to ask my bf to do stuff for me.
