Put it in an IRA so that in 30 years when you're ready to retire you'll have more than $1500 thanks to your sweet sweet returns but it won't matter because inflation will actually make the value of your investment worth less than the original total. Hmm, I'm betting you probably have some car/motorcycle/bicycle repairs that you've been kind of wanting but putting off. Spend $500 on that and feel the satisfaction of taking care of things that have been bugging you. Take another $500 and save it in whatever method you feel best, whether it's investing it or just keeping it in a small emergency fund. Take the last $500 and use it on some nice dinners, nights out with friends, or some small purchases that you've been wanting. Have fun with it!
