i never liked silent hill 4 but at the same time i think the victim ghosts are the scariest enemies in the series. i can respect what they were trying to do with the game, though.

It's a shame because if it just had the mechanics from 2 and 3 carried over it would've been enjoyed by a lot more people.

system shock 2 was not horror inducing but it was a little creepy FEAR has some well done tense moments and other really laughable ones yume nikki? havent played pathologic yet but people tell me its unsettling

Pathologic and the Void are unsettling games because of their atmosphere and strange writing. They don't play very well though, void in particular has some cool ideas but the central control scheme has never worked properly for me so it's kinda annoying. Pathologic is getting a reimagination next year though so that could be sick
