Don't waste your time, it's the worst show on TV right now. Its plot makes TWD look like it was written by Sam Esmail, and the acting makes Rick's accent 100% authentic.

To each their own. I feel like Alycia Debnam Cary is the next Kristin Stewart, Madidumb has been awful from the get- go and Chris was mediocre, at best, at playing a brooding teenager which is the easiest role for a literal brooding teenage actor.

Strand is the only one who has legit talent imo. I saw him in a movie(Beautiful Something) way before FTWD and was very impressed. His talents are squandered on this show.

It's funny that everyone is calling this torture porn when it really isn't. We saw two characters get violently murdered, yup, but torture porn? Nah. Go watch Martyr's and then you'll know what torture porn is. Apparently every graphic thing on television is now 'torture porn.' :ughh:

Also it's just hilarious at all the people saying this is what is making them quit the show. "Wahhhhh, we saw two people get killed in a style completely consistent with this show's history, we're out of here!" Give me a loving break.

Oh I agree that the flashback-style episode was trash 100%. For the first ~30% of the episode I seriously thought AMC was going to hold out on the reveal. But people saying this is "torture porn" apparently have forgotten about all the other awful poo poo that AMC has explicitly shown us before.

This violence is not unparalleled, people. We literally saw a dude get his face ripped off and eaten against a glass door. Rick hacked off his love interest's hand, pretty graphically. Denise got an arrow through her eye then comically kept on babbling whatever dumb poo poo she was talking about before for a few more seconds. Diabeetus girl got munched in front of our eyes, we saw our *~*protagonists*~* just squelching knives effortlessly into sleeping fools' heads.

The concept of a principal character or group of characters that people care about or even identify with seems to be totally foreign to some people here. When Z Nation has zombie bears and camels and stuff it's fine because they're not trying to be taken super seriously, whereas the Walking Dead has always tried very hard to be.

Yeah but it's only tried to be super serious in a few aspects, like the brutality and whatnot. It always comes back to gasoline still being perfectly usable. I like JDM's acting, but am echoing the complaints of many other goons. Negan's presence in the show, right now, is like cumin. It's amazing in basically everything in the right(see: small) amounts, but too much and it's just overpowering and nauseating.

For real though these last two episodes have been some of the worst of the entire show. Easy Street's episode is vying for the worst episode period, but I can't recall all of the episodes from earlier seasons so I'm giving it some wiggle room as maybe the 2nd worst.
