I'm so confused. I remember midway through the Season there were a lot of people actually really pumped/happy with how the show was doing-- marveling about mostly improvements with the only points of contention being people complaining about them bringing their only real Doctor/Denise out and that being absurdly stupid, and quite a few complaints about where Carol's development was going, and the occasional rare complaint of Sasha & Abe. The only true universal outrage was that horrible ending. And yeah, that ending definitely deflated all the build-up, if there was any build-up at all. But now the first few pages of this is a universal "woot hate its out of ideas like always lol how dis poo poo still on" by some of the same people who were giving it fellatio months ago. I get the finale deflated the season significantly but wut? @ some of the ret-cons of how people were treating the season/show.

I'm still playing catchup after getting home from work, but I don't get all the complaints about 'too much gore' in the 20s pages. Did they forget about Noah entirely? I mean, he's fairly forgettable in general, but his death wasn't. It was the most absurd (Well, not how he died-- how he died was legit character development for other characters, sucks for him though!) over the top gore they've possibly had here. Even the prosthetic they showed in Talking Dead afterward was cringey to look at, and not "lol cringe" kind of way, just genuinely gross and unpleasant. And it was awesome. But over the top and out of no where. I don't remember these "TORTURE PORN" complaints when it was dragged out with him smearing his blood across plexi-glass and the screaming. The only complaints I really remember, and I'm not even sure if some of them complaints, they were almost memelike "LULZ" was everyone going "BETH DIED FOR NOTHING  " during and after it.If you stayed for that scene but suddenly think its gone too far, you aren't complaining about the gore at this point, you're complaining about who it happened to. And if it affected you, good, it was supposed to. Other deaths were supposed to as well; they just failed.

My favorite FTWD Gif by far was the one showing LA "rioting" in the streets with the Swat Shields and poo poo. I'm assuming Moist Turtleneck did it. When I watched the episode it didn't feel/look so awful, but once it was in gif form I almost died from laughing since it was the focus.

Not to mention the zombies didn't even finish their meal as far as T-Dog was concerned. Lori meanwhile was eaten completely, bones hair and all. Think they even cleaned their plate afterward. edit: That scene of Morgan making the jail that was infamous for holding Negan also seems patently pointless foreshadowing now. I would honestly call bullshit at this point if Negan was spared for a "WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU" moment after a Carl KO. I know it wasn't really an assassin sent from the Saviors or anything, but ultimately this is an unhinged individual screaming about how he'll kill him and his one big button which is "Don't gently caress with my family" has been consistently pushed and has had him spend his attention elsewhere. My biggest let-down this season is when Jadis survived her people dying, it didn't involve her hiding in any of the numerous dumpsters. For shame.
