Really enjoying FS17, though I wish they used the controls from Construction Sim for moving booms and stuff, they were really intuitive. I am considering setting up a dedicated server but I heard there are money issues with them (host has to log in to get the money, can't distribute it, etc). I'd kind of like to see how fast goons would own all the fields and create farmpocalypse.

Anyone found a good money maker? In FS15 you could sew trees next to the lake at the lumber mill and chop them and push them in with a loader for solid dough, but they seem to have nerfed trees.

I also don't get the trains, it seems like for the hassle of driving TO the train stop, unloading into it, loading it into the train, training to the other dropoff, and unloading you may as well drive a tipper all the way there in the first place.

So for silage, you just bring grass to the biofuel plant and then pack it down or do you have to do an intermediate step?

I have just been hosting multiplayer on my own machine and will continue to do that until we get a critical mass of goons then I'll grab a dedicated server. find me on steam, same name as here. We've been squatting in the CTS mumble, usually a payday2 channel but I might just throw a discord up for this.

Dedicated server is up, but you gotta come into discord to get the info because communication is half the fun of this game.

An effective way to help a low horsepower tractor with too many implements is to use the buddy system. This is called drafting (or docking)

Some tractors can be fitted with a front end loader attachment. Your starting blue tractor can be. Drive it to the store, park it off to the left in the little hashed out area and modify it. Then buy a front loader and a bucket for it.
