Never understood why people care so much about how much a player is getting paid. Literally no cap in baseball. And Ricketts has shown no hesitation to spend money...

Once the plaza and hotel are finished, the Ricketts family is going to have infinite money coming in that isn't subjected to revenue sharing. They can throw around as much as they want on players.
