As I see it, from everyone's arguments, it's hard to tell who is doin' what on D1. So I kinda feel like it would be better odds to target someone with very few posts/no posts, as posting a lot is kinda putting-your-neck-out-there behavior that many non-townies would shy away from... I totally get that voting a lurker has it's disadvantages, so who hasn't posted 5 or more times, but posted once or more, so far? Or, I'd love a counterargument that some of the people who are passionately posting a lot with feasible strategies should be considered more likely to be scum than people just kinda hanging in the wings and posting rarely.

Okay I've read all 45 pages of this thread. Here are my reads: People who post a lot and get heated give me a very town-y vibe. Scum don't get emotional, scum are cold and calculating, ime. The one thing that sticks out to me is the Jimmy Hats thing. - He posted that his pm told him not to talk OOT - Our town pm's did not have that piece of info - Therefore, he not town The defense that he was being facetious doesn't hold for me, because facetious means "not taking something seriously." That doesn't really apply here, he didn't say something serious but could be interpreted as joking... he said something about his PM that shows he is not town. For right now, I'm most confident to ##vote Jimmy Hats. Everything else just feels like speculation to me, since it's so early in the game.

I should clarify.. while it is very possible Pale was just doing it to get some cred, he is literally the ony confirmed bad guy and this is the only thing he did which points to someone else. So I'm picking it over the arguments for anyone else so far, all of which are purely speculative and don't have the foundation of a known bad guy's actions.
