It was a one off scene an artist had in their mind and left up to viewer interpretation. I think it’s a car wreck that he’s gonna survive but his girl is not. Don’t worry more Gamer Dilbert should be back soon enough.

English is fine except for the spelling. It’s really dumb to have a phonetic alphabet and to still not be able to consistently know how to spell a word just by hearing it. Also, not ending a sentence in a preposition is a fake rule you can safely ignore, and singular “they” is fine and has been used for centuries.
