Really, the closest thing a cat feels to guilt is regret. Regret that they weren't as much of an rear end in a top hat as they could have been. If I remember right, he had a long blog post attached to each comic telling the story, and this one was about him trying to force a tradition of everyone eating McDonald's on Friday night, but everyone hated him so no one showed up.
