On the other hand, as noted, it's not exactly conducive to D2 analysis if we just turbo a dude, and while I certainly agree that JHats is playing scummy, I made the idiot mistake last game I played of hammering a town PR because I thought they were acting scummy, and I'd rather not make the same mistake.

That said, just from what little we have so far, I want to ##vote Inf for the fluff, out of anyone. I understand throwing your vote around in jokephase but the "post cat .gifs" posts just feels like it's an excuse to clutter the thread.

I think it's weird that AA was able to hop in and give answers whenever the conversation came around to them (why did people treat me, my prod post) but still claimed not to have caught up on the thread when I asked. Like, if you're following along enough to answer questions, you're probably reading the thread, at least in my experience. That doesn't pass my sniff test. ##unvote; ##vote AA W/r/t Cpig, I still have a null read. His posts still just read like typical Cpig to me, but I don't have a strong meta read for scum Cpig versus town Cpig.

I don't think we should vote JHats, after reflecting a bit - like a couple other people have said, if that's his role, and if he's town, he's well worth keeping around. There have been a couple more concrete cases as well. I figure we should at least save him for D2; confident the truth will come out by then with an action result. On filtering, TM's posting in this game is way different than his posting in gotta go fast, in which he was town, and I could see myself voting him today. Other than that, I kinda like my vote where it is.

So if I'm reading right, the only way that AA isn't a redirector is if Inf A) is telling the truth about being self-watching and B) is not actually a bodyguard. The reason this doesn't hold water to me is that a self-watching scum in a role-heavy game doesn't make sense. It'd be a useless role. So to me, on balance, Inf's probably town - and then what reason would he have to lie about the rest of his role? Finally, as stickup mentioned above, 3 trackers in a 13 person game seems nuts - I don't buy AA's roleclaim. Coupled with what I said yesterday, I'm inclined to believe Inf over him.

You know what, actually, maybe this is off the wall but I'm going to make a flavor argument. The picture of Jimson's cat, when he flipped, was a cat pawing at a mirror. If Jimson was a town tracker, what's the mirror - reverse - of a town tracker? Something that screws with tracker results. Like a bus driver, or a redirector. Also a scum.

Well, my reasoning, anyway: I talked a little bit earlier in the day about why I believe Inf over AA. I thought about it some more, and besides what I mentioned earlier, I just don't see a reason for scum to trade one for one on day 2 - and if Inf's lying, that's basically what he's doing here. I don't see a lie like that not being exposed by tomorrow. Lastly, it took nine minutes from the start of day for Inf to come up with that fakeclaim, and nine minutes from results to elaborate fakeclaim...eh. Also, AA keeps lying and misrepresenting stuff against him. It's been pointed out a couple of times. Here's another one. Anomalous Amalgam posted:[ ... ]Look back at the first claim... Ahhhhh Good game. Thanks for running it Asiina. Congrats to scum on a well deserved win. Jimmy was correct in that I lie detected his role claim night 1; I did try to breadcrumb my night actions/results a little bit but really didn't want to claim early in hopes of being able to survive long enough to clear more people. Oh well!
