I'm willing to give the creator the benefit of the doubt, but I'll admit that unless her vision is extremely brilliant and earth-shattering I'm also kind of expecting something that's completely insane for a Source mod mapping and gameplay wise while the story is just whatever. But still, god drat, there's like a spaceship flying section in a Source mod. That's just crazy to me.

Still sounds more interesting than what the 2013 reboot lead off with. Ancient myths are real- and it made a storm to take down a plane and it's raining on the island a lot and there's a one Samurai.

I don't know what the sequels are like, my level of involvement is just enjoying people making jokes about Tomb Raider 17 where Lara Croft will finally become the Tomb Raider.

They landed on a world made of solid iron, with a thin crackly crust of silicates. Local gravity is approximately 7 Gs, and Wrex got drunk and pissed into the mass effect core, so they're having to slum it.

I guess its cool they managed to do that, but I'm baffled as to why they were compelled to do so. Its not like multiplayer would add anything to the game.

-edit, I ended up just asking the guy in the comments. He did it to just to show its possible with his new engine.

It would be a lot easier, probably, because it runs on a mildly updated version of the Neverwinter Nights engine anyway. Most of the assets would probably slot in there easily, although you probably couldn't do certain things like the not-pod races.
