The Sixers are gonna be in a good position to finally draft a PG as BPA.

I'm excited that there seem to be some good ones

Has Josh Jackson played to his potential at all or has he been yet another Kansas Wing Player?

Why do talented wings still go to Kansas and suffer under Bill Self for a year?

I disagree . I forget who I was listening to (Bodner?) that mentioned he had Ball higher for the Sixers than other teams because Ball's weaknesses could be glazed over by Simmons

I'm interested in that argument because they have a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses assuming you think Ball's shot won't work in the NBA.

Agree on ball over fox though

Yeah, it was Bodner. I took a quick re-listen and it was a lot more generalities than specifics, but

-The more +++ passers/playmakers a team has, the better that makes everyone else

-Ball isn't that ball dominant and his style is quick and fast

-With Simmons also running point, Ball doesn't have to be the "do-everything" guard he would have to be on the Kings or somewhere else

Of course, watch the Sixers draft a PG and then back up the Brinks truck for Kyle Lowry

They don't really need Williams-Goss, they have 3 below the rim slow point guards on the roster already. Hart is nice just because he's a nice all around player who could do well given minutes on a functional team. Jawun Evans has peg arms, when the wingspan hype dies down he might move down. But he's the kind of small guy that moves in the right way to succeed in the NBA. When he needs space for a jumper he pops like a little popcorn to get plenty of room, he uses his arms to do deceptive stuff off the dribble,
decent three point shooting could make him a solid backup pg on a normal team or starter for the Sixers

I'm kinda just throwing out names at this point. I'm just desperate for the Sixers to do something about their lack of guards that does not involve giving Lowry 4/160

Sign Lowry for 40 mil a year, that's the Sixers core for the foreseeable future. RobCo needs a big raise. Embiid (probably) needs a big raise. There will be little room to be flexible. Especially if Embiid gets a Brinks trunk and only plays 50 games year

Mostly, I just have a bad feeling any big Lowry deal will look real bad in a couple years

Aside from the fact that Ben Simmons is occupying the 4 spot on defense.

I kinda like Monk at 3. If you stick him at the 1, that mitigates his size and defense issues. Let Simmons run the offense with Monk as a secondary ball handler
