I heard somewhere to put a layer of foil after you saran wrap it, then put it all into a ziplock bag.

I don't remember what the foil is supposed to do but I've never had a problem with the setup. I don't freeze steaks for more than 2-3 months though, we usually just eat them all right away.

Just the plastic wrap will allow some small amount of gas diffusion across it and let nasty oxygen get to your steak, slowly ruining it's flavor. A layer of foil will prevent that.

And that gnocchi was surprisingly good and filling!

My wife has a business account through her job, but we've never been. What's the main difference between the two?

Bitchin Sauce on Naan dippers hits a home run. I cant wait to put this stuff on a sandwich.

Also we tried the Garlic Honey chicken from the refrigerated section. It was AWFUL. I would say the chicken tasted like cat food, but my cats wouldnt even eat it.

Garlic (any allium) is poison to cats and dogs, FYI.

Thank you, good to know.

Right, I had no idea until someone told me. It was a sad day for my dog as the number of table scraps that made it her way were cut down significantly after that.

Now she's old as hell and basically living on borrowed time so if something only has a little garlic or onion I'll still give it to her.

I replaced a ~$50 2.1 amazon china special that a subwoofer and all. This new one blows teh poo poo out of that. I can hear so much detail now. Really hard to describe its just FULL audio now.

I had that system for years until I got rid of my desktop. It really blows everything else in that class away.

I just bought 3 of these LED shop lights for my garage, they're really nice.

They're super bright (4600 lumens), they have a remote and they have motion sensors that can turn on when you walk by. You can link up to 6 of them as well and use a single plug.

They're pretty light and there's a lot of plastic but at only $20 they're a steal.

I saw those last time I went - do you know how long they're on sale for? I've been meaning to get some better lighting in my garage for awhile now.

Are stroopwaffels gone? I randomly came across some at church a few months ago, but sadly not since.

Went in to get my membership up and running after not being a member for probably 4-5 years. Service desk sort of got me all figured out, didn't need a temporary card, since I still had my old one. They updated my address and all that.

However, they didn't charge me the membership fee, they said I'd pay that when I was at the cash, buying stuff. Except I was only there for pizza and chicken wings, which had a self serve kiosk for payment. No card required for payment!

And I can come back and get more whenever, because I still have my card, but it's not paid for, just current and updated.

So, at this moment, I both am and am not a Costco member. :pseudo:

You don't need to be a member for food court. You can just go in through the out if you don't want to flash your card.

My wife and I have been on the lookout for stroopwafel since they disappeared last year, but she did see the stroopwafel ice cream sandwiches and got excited enough to bring a box home.
I was disappointed. The ice cream is very bad, and the whole concept is off considering the point of the stroopwafel is to get warmed up so the caramel melts!
