My Costco stocks it pretty much all the time (85%) but they move it back and forth between the soda section and the bottled water section in this frustrating, elaborate dance designed to get me to buy Klarbunn instead WHICH I WILL NOT DO, THANKS. It works out to about $0.22 a can which is cheaper than almost anywhere else except when Aldi has it on crazy deep discount.

We've had a Costco sherpa in the back of our AMERICAN SIZED SUV for the last 2 months but I've been too busy to load it into the house. I didn't realize it was all that and a bag of chips I'll have to fire that poo poo up this weekend for movie night.

My father in law is a Dewars drinker, but when we're getting together to celebrate something really special, Blue Label tends to be where we go. Black Label is about as good as you can hope to get for a $30 scotch. Do I prefer an Oban, a Macallan, a Bruichladdich? Of course. But some people like the blends, and in that case I think JW is probably their best bet.

My Costco might not have all the blessings of your Costco but now that winter is upon us let me share why our Costco is the greatest Costco: It was a snowy January day, 2016, and while it wasn't a "blizzard" the snow was accumulating quickly. My wife, our 6 month old daughter and I needed to get out of the house and my wife had (astutely) gotten us new Costco executive memberships so we decided to go shopping. I was a skeptic for so long, friends, I had never taken the sacrament, had never even stepped foot through those beautiful doors with the fresh tire smell wafting across the entrance. I was cynical, and believed Costco was just Wal-Mart for snobs. So we ventured out, armed with our oversized Scandanavian SUV, over snowy roads to Costco. I was getting worried, though, because the snow was intensifying. While I felt safe on the roads I was already annoyed at trudging through a parking lot to go shopping on this cold, snowy day. However, we pulled up to the building and through the lightly falling snow only to find that our Costco has covered parking. We pulled in to an enormous parking lot safe from the elements. Warm shoppers pushing large carts full of treasures smiled despite the awful weather outside as they loaded up their bounties before returning home. We went inside, I took the sacrament for the first time and I spun, dizzily, at the array of wonderful things we never knew we needed. PBUC.

Our Costco was super picked over today, sadly - no sherpas (we need a replacement, we ruined ours washing it with towels ), no Beats headphones, no ribbon or bows - and an absolute madhouse but we got everything else we needed, including a bottle of Kirkland 7 year aged Tennessee Bourbon to trial tomorrow in a taste test against our local small batch bourbon which has won a bunch of awards (Cedar Ridge if anyone knows their spirits). It was a lot of fun, and most of the employees were super cheerful except one woman who was working in refrigerated who looked to be on the edge of tears because people were continually being rude to her. gently caress people, I realize Costco is a much better place to work than typical retail hell but this is still the worst time of year to be working retail, EVEN COSTCO. Our Costco was so busy they had guys from the tire center helping put stuff back in carts. Very merry. PBUC

This whole discussion prompted me to call my local grocer and find out that a gallon of milk at the cheapest non-Aldi grocery store is $2.89. We only buy organic milk, and we buy it by the half gallon at Aldi but it's a bit more expensive, like $2.50 for a half gallon. I don't know what a non-organic Aldi gallon runs around here, because they won't let you call the individual stores directly.
