Hello friends, I made a emergency trip to Costco tonight for 4 magnums of champagne, 2 chickens, a brisket and pool chemicals. Gonna be a big weekend. Also one hot dog and drink for one dollar and fiddy cents.

DangerDummy! posted:Tim Tams update: the Township 5 Camillus Costco no longer carries Tim Tams. My daughter and I drowned our sorrows with a pair of dog & soda (w/ refill) combos. Also split a brisket sandwich out of curiosity. Not very good imo. Feel like they skimped on the brisket. Hello Costco friend. I could have sworn I picked some up there just a couple weeks back. I didn't even think to look the other night. Main focus tonight was flank steak and brews/meats for the weekend ahead. In lieu of the Modelo summer fun pack this year I went with the Blue Point sampler. I haven't hit the food court my last few trips. It always seems so busy on weekday nights for whatever reason. They crank mad pizzas out of that kitchen though. Doesn't give me much hope for the quality of pizza on the west side.

It's cider season and Costco carries delicious local Beak & Skiff Cider for 3 dollars a gallon. I got two. Also a hot dog and drink (ft. refill) for one dollar and fifty cents.

Our go to cheap Costco beer is the Coors light cooler, 36 pack that comes in a soft cooler so it's like a double purchase. Life changing. Local Costco usually carries a ton of great local stuff like Middle Ages, Saranac, Brooklyn and Southern Tier. Although lately it's just been higher end macros like blue point and Stella which is fine but kinda disappointing compared to what I've seen in the past. Although they do carry those super cheap Warsteiner and Modelo packs seasonally and those are great.

Geoj posted:The thing that really sucks about Ohio is all the states that border it are also control states. I think we'd have to drive to New York or Illinois to experience a Costco liquor department. In New York liquor had to be sold in a store that only sells liquor/wine. So it's in a separate store attached to the side. It's got great prices but not a ton of variety or high end stuff.

Greetings friends, I was out of town this week and stopped at a foreign New Jersey Costco and got the (french) vodka and the 7 year old bourbon. I was gonna get the 20 year speyside but they had a couple bottles of Paul John Brilliance Single Malt and I couldn't say no to that. I cracked open that vodka the other night and it is seriously excellent. Also excellent is the hot dog and drink (ft. refill) for one dollar and fifty cents!!!

RoastBeef posted:I was wondering who brewed it: They also make Utica Club, which if you live within 100 miles of the brewery is a perfectly serviceable cheap beer. The Kirkland Light is just stunningly awful, I'd rather pay 6 dollars more for 60 Genny Creams or Rolling Rocks.
