I often go digging through my company's e-waste and score some nice loot from time to time. A week ago I found 2 dozen Sheeva Plug's model: 003-SP1001 1.2 GHz ARM Marvell Kirkwood (ARM9E) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SheevaPlug I got Debian 8 running off an SD card using this tutorial, http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/sheevaplug/install/ But I'd like to see if I can get it to work off the built in flash: http://www.blaicher.com/2012/07/installing-debian-on-a-sheevaplug-into-flash/ I see I can solder on an esata port. Now what the hell can I do with these things? owncloud? What's a good way to benchmark it?
