We apologize if your packets are rather thin in terms of information. We are currently in the process of disentangling our servers from a small hack that did nothing to compromise our servers. For the love of Buddha do not make it something that actually applies to anything you use in real life, it will strictly be for this game. Anyone that does not send me a PM with this information will not be confirmed as in game Lower case letters and numbers for the password, please. You are FORBIDDEN to share your own in game username and / or password with anyone. Sharing your password for this game is akin to posting your role PM, and will result in an immediate and swift modkill. I will have a post to explain the mechanics of how the specifics of this works later. Essentially, you will have to use some social engineering to break into an E-Corp server to gain information and tools to better help you fight against the scum (or to better screw the town over.) Clues will be posted daily that will provide the password to the user folder, which will contain yours and everyone elses’ role info, hidden behind a password that only you know. You will not require ANY hacking skills to figure out the passwords, so don’t worry about that. This will be a very different game of mafia. There is a possibility that this will be a very straightforward, boring game with little fuss and you will all use your amazing acumen (and nothing else) to figure out who the scum are. There is also the very real possibility that this game will supernova into a glorious unbalanced mess. Whether or not that happens is entirely up to the players. The flavor for this game will be set after Season 1 ends. If you care about spoilers, be warned. If you don’t, it won’t affect anything. You won’t need to know anything about the show to be successful. One last thing. Please please please consider if you will have time for this. This game really won’t work if people don’t put in the effort. If you are busy, not interested, then I invite you to enjoy the game from the observer doc. I’ve put some money into the dropbox account we’ll be using, so I would appreciate it. Lunches are by majority only. If a day should end without a majority reached, it will be a no-hang.
