This news started on NeoGAF and then started spreading among big name fighting game players in the competitive scene. Now all of the clickbait sites like Polygon and Gamespot are picking it up. So there is for sure some legitimacy to it.

At this point why does Disney even need the Capcom half of this? They have the leverage to where they never need to 'share' IPs again. Just make a Marvel vs Star wars vs Ducktales game or w/e

I brought M v C "two worlds" or something like that.. Unfortunately when I opened the case the disks were wrong and I had been given an RPG called Rage. It had been months and the store I brought it from had closed. That's my story. Ps, I didn't like that street fighter game with all the anime.

Disney have full control over who gets the rights to use their characters in games.
