Also this is the only explanation.

The poo poo CIG is firing off at the court is so loving dumb that they have to be preaching to their customers. The lawsuit is just an extra medium for them to lie to the stupidest people on the planet. Look at all the backers cheering that CIG is defeating it's own arguments and claiming it can't be sued because it's contractual obligations no longer apply when they break their contract because there is no longer a contract to enforce.

Maybe Chris thinks they can secure that sweet half billion in sales from Squadron 42 if they can just make it a few more months so all they need to do is stall with some retarded grandstanding that makes no sense because the fools that fund them will eat it up no matter how stupid it makes them look in the future to a jury.

I thought Squadron 42 was officially canceled?

Sometimes I think about Star Citizen and wish it were actually finished and a good game. I know neither of these things will ever happen though. I don't get why Chris Roberts had to be so greedy. RSI should have just released a modest game to start with and build up from there. It has worked really well for Elite: Dangerous.

It still blows my mind that a Star Citizen backer suggested a sexual assault / rape mechanic for the game and other backers took it seriously and agreed with it.

Okay serious question, Alpha 3.2 is the current playable version available. What can you actually do in this version of the game? How many ships are available that you can earn with in-game credits, and what missions / activities are there to do?

Disappointed but not surprised. You truly would expect this game to be loaded with content at this point with how long it has been in development.

I don't understand the complaints about RDR2 having clunky unintuitive controls and UI. All of that clicked with me very quickly and I am someone who is brain damaged. :v: I was actually thinking this weekend about how ambitious RDR2 is, and how Star Citizen is trying to be the same level as ambitious and depth. RDR2 cost maybe twice as much to develop apparently? So I can only ever seen Star Citizen and SQ42 being canceled at some point.

Do you realize how much you sound like a poster on r/sc right now? I don't mean any offense but this is the same stuff we constantly rip on citizens for, "no running in the space space station it ruins muh immersion" but then Rockstar makes it so you literally can not run in camp or a building and it gets praised.

The game is filled to brim with stuff we laugh at when it is CR's vision but when it's Dan Houser's vision it's suddenly good. lmao.

It works in Red Dead Redemption 2 because that game is not literal loving trash that people had to pay $1000 for the privilege of playing. You pay $60 and everything in it is included for you to earn and play with. Star Citizen can't even get the most basic gameplay mechanics working before it tries to implement absurd amounts of depth and complexity that make zero sense.

If I was CIG, I would have released this game has 1.0 a few years ago and then constantly updated it with new content and features. Post game support looks vastly better and is received way better then whatever this mess is currently.
