For a long time CIG never went under $20k a day, anything drifting that direction caused a sale. After 2.0 shipped last year, their low end daily between sales was 70k/day for a couple of months, new gameplay, ok you can see that generating interest. Since then sales have been so often the daily figure hasn't had time to settle down. They have just finished a massive sale, biggest ever, they sold everything so the whales will have been spending like crazy. As far as I know (because I've started to lose interest) there's no sale currently on. So, no whales should be spending, as nothing special on sale and they should be tapped out for a couple of weeks anyway. The low end starter package is $45, so according to the chart, CIG are getting ~1000 new punters a day, 4+ years after the kickstarter with no new game play for 6 months and their major fan site videos get hundreds of views per show? Something badly stinks about the current funding figures, it's just not believable. The new Citizen forum on RSI has 3 threads with a post in them today, 2 threads active yesterday. Randarkman posted:Why are Americans and British so fascinated with German compound words? There's really nothing that amazing about it, it's just like alot of other languages where you can, theoretically, make a compound word out of anything if you were inclined. Like "Fremdschämen" literally is just the words for "stranger" and "shame" combined into one, so it's literally "stranger shame". Norwegian among others works the same way, while English doesn't. Though I guess the Germans have been especially industrious about recording what is thought to be clever uses of that functionality, so they can have that. The english word for it is exoticnovelty.

The 2nd option seems the more likely to me for him making so much fuss over something that doesn't matter at all, everyone knows Star Marine will be poo poo and so it will be proved, eventually, beyond all doubt. Anyone with any sense and experience who works there is looking for the exit door now. I know you and D1E have a real problem with Derek, my advice would start getting used to him being right. Also a senior programmer for SQ42 that was in charge, according to Chris Roberts, of the "not difficult" task of making ships dock together, land and all sorts of stuff in SQ42 left. According to moma this is normal turnover though and nothing at all to worry about in the slightest, senior programmers leaving months before SQ42 ships probably just means everything is done already and they're holding it back because of spoilers. I dunno if he was laid off or left but... hahaha, ok, I'm sure he left, he probably ran out the fire exit before anyone could stop him grinning from ear to ear.

Why? If it's due to be released soon then you could just concentrate on making it as good as possible and worry about if people like it when they actually have it. But no, in CIG land you'd make many internet aliases to argue with people that their impression of something not yet released was wrong. https://twitter.com/SeanNoonan/status/804106985432055809 AP fucked around with this message at 16:49 on Dec 7, 2016 |

I don't feel bad for the devs anymore, that guy joined CIG in August 2015, it was obviously CIG were taking advantage of the mentally ill at that point and rumours of how bad employees were treated were circulating among dev studios. Anyone joining from that point onwards deserves what they get and anyone still there from earlier should really have left by now.

If you've $100 on your account in RSI meltable value items and have spent $150 you can get $100 back. If you have $100 on your account in RSI meltable value items and have spent $50 you should be able to get $50 back and have them leave the account open with the other $50 still on it or have $50 returned to whoever gifted you it. There's no way CIG want to stand up in court and attempt to explain all this dodgy gifting poo poo.

Before you reclaim something into RSI credits there is a confirmation screen asking for your password, don't put your password in obviously, but that screen shows you how much each hangar item would melt/reclaim for. Before emailing CIG for a refund, take a copy of your entire billing support page and copy/paste your hangar log to notepad for a backup as they might disable your access to the account (which makes it a lot harder to argue exact details with them). Also are you in the US or the EU?

What's the big deal about the largest crowdfunded failure in history guys? Who cares that something this big is likely to make a few depressed over "invested" idiots it attracts, kill themselves? Who really cares that the "founders" of it all will just walk away when the RSI website goes offline and the chances of them actually being brought to account for running a deception for years is low?
