I want Hall to go up two weight classes and fight Demian Maia. Well, I guess fight isn't the right word.

I enjoyed the complete ridiculousness of it.

Man, I loving loved that fight.

Ryan Hall landed two illegal upkicks to Gray's one, so you can't say he wasn't outpacing Maynard in the offence.

Ryan Hall [accurately] describing the fight as the audience rains down boos is beautiful.

I tried to fight him but he defended it effectively by literally falling down

I completely agree with Hall's assessment of the fight tbh

Ryan Hall is going to get absolutely murdered by the top 15, because his entire skillset on the inside is to fall over.

Have some loving confidence in your training and go to the ground or at least try to pressure your opponent. Maynard did none of this and landed around 12 strikes in the entire fight.

Gray Maynard should have been disqualified for cowardice and refusing to engage because after he landed one punch, Ryan Hall literally sprinted around the outside of the cage to get away.

Dan Didio posted:Ryan Hall is going to get absolutely murdered by the top 15, because his entire skillset on the inside is to fall over. That was the part of his game that was working though. He's going to lose to someone who can outstrike him from kicking range or to someone who can actually engage him on the ground successfully. Part of why I'd like to see the Oliviera fight is I think he could do both.
