I was at the PPV, and they had most of the lower bowl sold (the only empty seats I saw were in the far ends near the entrance). I imagine they didn't really expect or intend to sell the upper bowl, so 3000 was probably what they expected from the venue.

 Probably the sweetheart deal, yeah. Not a whole lot runs at EagleBank Arena, so they'll probably take whatever they can get. Like, there's exactly three events in June and July including the ROH show.

GMU isn't exactly a rural campus. It's in a large, wealthy suburb in a large, wealthy metro area. Fairfax County, alone, has a population over 1 million. Unless you think there's a lot of college kids going to the six showings of Paw Patrol Live they had back in February or the PBR shows in September or Disney on Ice this October and last year, their lack of scheduling is not because college is out.
