sublime atom and vscode hardly seem different to me. atom had the best vim-mode when I tried it, but it still wasn't a good enough parody for my hopelessly vim-addicted fingers.

i used to use sublime, but i switch to atom. its slow as gently caress, lags like crazy, pretty lovely experience all around but the package system is way better and sublime is dead anyway afaict

i paid the $60 for sublime. totally worth it

mostly because it just does the simple text editing stuff without loving it up. and works identically on different platforms

for IDE, i use the operating system

What I like about VS Code is that it is Visual Studio-lite. However, it is not Visual Studio, so that is a negative.
