Web|Itunes|RSS Part of the Radiotopia collective and a Peabody finalist, The Memory Palace is a museum audio tour in podcast form. Which is appropriate, since series creator and host Nate DiMeo is the current artist-in-residence at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The series consists of five-to-fifteen minute vignettes focusing almost exclusively on obscure and little-known aspects of American History. Episodes vary in subject matter from how often the Cuyahoga river caught fire to the convicted murderer-turned-professional wrestler. As of November 30, the series is at it's 100th episode. New listeners are encouraged to start here, where Nate has helpfully provided his personal favorites.
