If the US is paying them 600 million in interest doesn't that mean Apple gave the US billions of dollars for the bonds in the first place? And they mention it's from their foreign earnings so basically they're just dumping Euros straight into the US government's coffers so they don't gotta pay tax on it to Germany or whatever, if I'm reading that correctly. I think I'm ok with this.

That's how all major corporations make money, but at least apple produces some goods at the end of it. There are plenty of businesses that produce literally nothing but make billions of dollars at the expense of taxpayers, shareholders and society in general.

Candy is good, apple is bad. If you dipped apple in candy you could lick the outermost layer of unsullied candy off and leave the now tainted base layer and the terrible apple where it belongs: in the garbage.
