I'm american but live in a super mexican city. Never eat any kind of a soup a mexican tells you is good for hangovers. For some reason its code for "utterly disgusting". If you're lucky its just menudo, a tripe soup. If not they have a brain soup for when they need to hit that disgusting level out of the park.
