This game jam has accomplished the impossible feat of motivating me buckle down and learn the basics of Blender. After doing a couple beginner tutorials I was able to start a new thing and make this in 10 minutes, which almost makes me feel like I know what I'm doing:  They're supposed to be store shelves..

Maybe it was optimistic of me to embark on this game jam while in the final stages of planning my wedding. I'll definitely have *something* playable by the end of the weekend but hoooo boy I seriously underestimated how hectic these last two weeks of preparation might be.

I did a terrible shopping cart from scratch all by myself with only a reference picture or two. I think I'm getting a lot more comfortable with Blender now. I could never have even done this last week. Thank you, awfuljam.

I could never have even done this last week. Thank you, awfuljam. Quick note on this and the earlier shelf, looks like you have some planes going on there (such as the lines around the cart). Not sure if you've checked it in-engine yet, but you might have funky normals (example, the lines on one side of the cart might not be visible on the other). You could fix this by giving these planes some amount of thickness, selecting everything and recalculating normals. If you need any help swing by irc and ask away, there's a few of us who are familiar with Blender.
