To stump on the MMA side: Most valuable is Conor Most outstanding is either Michael Bisping or Stipe Miocic given the voting oeriod, but in history and hearts it should be Bisping. His year was outstanding and the story was beautuful. And match of the year is Cub Swanson v Doo Ho Choi which is so good its airing for free on Fox on Christmas Eve aftrr being on PPV less than a month ago. Watch it. Absolutely incredible year from him that nobody could have seen coming.

The more I think I about it I'm pretty sure that BONE SOLDIER deserves Worst Gimmick. I genuinely liked Captain New Japan. He was a fun jobber and played the role well. Now he's probably an even worse wrestler, the gear's ludicrously terrible for a major leaguefed, he gets no heat, and his matches are consistently the worst on every New Japan card (working a program with Yoshitatsu hasn't helped tbf)
