ExplodingSims posted:Is there any car where the heater core isn't an extended experience in frustration and knuckle bashing? My J10, it is right there under the hood. Same with a lot of older F series trucks, their evap cores are right there. I bet I could do a 97-01 XJ or firstgen forester one in 3-4 hours, they aren't bad even though people bitch a lot about it. (You have to rip out everything between the seats and firewall.)

OK so the service records say that first the coolant neck broke and it dumped out its coolant, then presumably that's why it overheated and blew the head gasket. But both have been fixed and now Mom says it still over heats? Aaaand the clutch is broke? And your folks have already paid for a head gasket replacement plus machine shop work, they must be thousands into this car by now. Maybe a different local car would be a better idea this one is red http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/5923315205.html or lets revisit other past nightmares http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5923305043.html http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5889045612.html http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/5911758245.html http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5941599611.html http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5940656538.html http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5878687542.html NEED BUDY WORK Or hey VW made other aircooled things http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5894118906.html I mean there are so many options here
