I don't believe in anything, I'm just here for the violence.

"When you take your missile ship in Homeworld and you right-click the enemy, they just dump all their missiles, and then they magically replenish them a little bit later," Liliana goes on. "But in the real world, with the contents of our [vertical launching system] - when we would do briefings with the captains every day, we would put up a chart showing every missile in every VLS, and what their status was, which ones we could fire it and at what time, what was a casualty, that kind of stuff.

"Because every individual missile is so important, and the details of how to use them are so important. When I would train young ensigns, I would spend days and days and days going through the details of like, how the missiles launch, what their guidance systems look like, how we illuminate targets, that kind of stuff, because there's just so much complexity, and I really wanted to capture that."

I can't wait to have my campaign delayed by a lovely SUPPO.

I hear the micromanaging DESRON commodore DLC is going to be fire.

Honestly, goat locker politics means having a strong chief who is respected by the rest makes all the difference in the world as to how your Navy experience is gonna be.

Frankly, it shouldn't be like that--but it absolutely is.

(My division went from a very strong chief to a complete patsy who would roll over at the slightest hint of resistance. It was amazing how quickly we fell from being the department's rockstars to the department's bitches. Resentment from others builds when you have a protective chief, and once that protection falls you pay a steep price.)

His face is next to FAFO in the dictionary. I wouldn't cross that dude with a tank.

Speaking of chiefs I finally got chewed out by some random chief in front a lot of officers.
It was totally pointless and he was just making up poo poo for unknown reasons. I'd write it all out but it's a story as old as time and at the end of day all it really did was reaffirm my willpower to not lose my cool.

Lol the level of hell that poor soul is about to endure via karma.

The demo is quite good. The editor is a lot of fun. It'll be interesting to theorycraft, and the forums are very active with the devs doing what they can to tweak the mechanics to make the game more like Harpoon 2 (in space) instead of the rock-paper-scissors game that was the Homeworld franchise.

Also, you just know that this is the soak test for him ultimately demanding the renaming of the Doris Miller. And since 82 and 83 are named after Clinton and Dubya respectively, you just KNOW his sycophantic drunk rear end is going to ~demand~ 81 be named after Trump.

They should name it the USNS Gay. After Ensign George Henry Gay Jr. of course.
