Back the end of the last thread, McNally please seek a lawyer if only to see what is possible for this. One of mu buddies is fighting for her BAH from basic/AIT(we've been in five years) and she got the whole RPAC section removed for not doing their jobs. That they were paid to do. And loving up Soldiers pay. They call it, "Disciplining the system."

the worst thing you can do is appear competent and get sent to staff, because you will be the one person sent there that isn't a total fuckup, under the assumption that if at least one person isn't a total idiot then everything will be fine

staff is full of people that are sentenced there, either because they were very good at their jobs or very bad, with little inbetween

have fun

I’m the S4 OIC and I’m going on two years here and I hate that they know I’m competent, but I also have been trying to get sent down to become a team chief for a few months.

Hey anybody have a good site where one can purchase those new nike sf boots for less than $150? I thought I saw a site but I feel like I could get them for a lot cheaper. It’s time to trash all my acu poo poo.

I had a bunch of masons in my last unit but maybe it was the unit culture and the 92F life. All enlisted E4-7.

So in the same week I found out that I am getting replaced by a senior CPT as the S4, I’m deploying to HOA in fy 19 as the Hq(-) 4 and that deploying won’t help me complete my CAQC or CCC beforehand. I remember hearing that deploying troops can bump people from seats, but I can’t get a seat at LOG CC at all now. 😂 oh well. Anyone who’s went to HOA know how hard it will be to get internet so I can get my M.S.? Also the CAQC pipeline sucks. Phase 3 is a 6 month online course, and they wonder why there are so few MOSQ 38A CPTs....

The best part of the PT test is now everyone has to pass it, there is no profile option. I hear a lot of butthurt from senior people on profile and I’m like, I only have 2 more APFTs until I take an ACRT. I’m ready for this.

Or bitching about having to run 2 miles in under 20:00. Like what have you been doing your whole life in the Army?

Are there no alternate events or something? I knew people who genuinely couldn't run anymore due to shrapnel and poo poo in their legs but who weren't medically retired for whatever reason.

No alternative events. No profiles. Let the butthurt flow.

Implementing this plan as it exists on paper right now is the absolute worst idea. Which is precisely why the Army is going to implement it, and then wonder for years what went wrong.

At least we’ll get rid of those malingering CSMs on profile.

Secret bus driver license holder here.

I’m one of four people in my BN qualified to pick up ammunition, because no one has a license and no one has Ammo-67, and we only have one vehicle that can pick up Ammo from Dix. So many ways that this could fail! Every year my section holds drivers training and every year the Soldiers that show up that have avoided it forever are told that their section has overlapping more important training at the same time and that they can’t learn to drive to standard.

Or they live in NYC and don’t have a license.

As the last to leave it's my first day off in over 30 days and the companies won't stop calling me for poo poo.

Some of them still don't understand after me not answering 6+ phone calls.

The company XOs were some fickle, moody bitches out in the field. I'm content to let them fail due to not planning ahead. I'll care when the BN XO calls me.

My replacement as the S4 now that I’m leaving and then going down to team level is all about the companies doing their proper planning, whereas I used to bust my rear end to keep things running smoothly. I’m actually very happy with the change.

The problem is now that they won’t know what to do and will keep pelting my AGR SFC and the S-3 section about stuff way too late for us.

Got told yesterday that I have to get to mandatory training to train the trainers later this week on this morning at 0800, when All I had to do was pick up barracks keys at 1000. I got up two hours early, dropped my friend off at work an hour earlier than I was going to(she came over because it was a holiday and I promised her a ride to work Tuesday morning and we had pie and dinner last night) so 7AM instead of 8am when her work starts...

Only to find out that the training isn’t on the schedule by any agency on this base and that the date I was given is wrong and why did I get a sitrep about this on a holiday weekend?

But that isn’t so bad now I’m just here 2 hours early. Oh well.

“☹️ I’ll ask around but we won’t have ammunition till we were supposed to fire next Saturday.”- me, thinking of who I need to call to arrange this outlandish exchange and how impossible this will be
