But there wasn't such an obvious cause for Auburn's struggles (Oregon's defense played lights out, but it wasn't one player). That could be a lot of it. I still kinda hate Fairley tbh. My homer glasses had him painted as the dirtiest sumbitch ever to play football by the end of the game.

Well he was a big rear end in a top hat so I don't think it was all the homer perspective. I'd have to go back and check but I'm pretty sure he had a dirty play or two during the UGA game that year that stood out.
