The yeilds on the starter planet peter out and do not scale up past the midgame. But there is still a bunch left, so to completely deplete the planet you have to engineer some balanced rube goldberg consumption machine to run while you're off on real planets doing real sun caging. It is satisfying tho. The oil is perpetual and the most clever solution I saw for it was running a equator belt of power gen then hooking up all the seeps to it.

The planet I invaded to steal their titanium is FAR less of a mess than my home planet  I keep tearing down everything and rebuilding to see what kind of silly poo poo I can automate production of. Right now it’s logistics towers and drones, because that makes sense

New Destroy All Humans! is out. Also the latest update to Fallout 76 has been good. 60gb~ but lots of fixes and new stuff. But it's still 76 so lol. I'm level 120 now.

It's a neat love letter to the best motorsport. Awesome groovy synthwave soundtrack too. And I like how they couldn't afford to license anything, so they had to get a bit creative with naming the cars. What is obviously a BMW M1 is das uberwhip, the Lancia 037 is il monster, the Volvo 240 is turbo brick etc. edit: juuuumps, Walter Röhrl you suuuuuck

Hardspace Shipbreaker update is out. Progress was reset since a bunch of it changed. There's a story mode now and the tutorial is more a part of the game than a separate thing you do.

Like, I popped the back end off a starter ship, and the rear end end of the remainder swung down hard enough to bash my dying self out of the play area. This is repeatable, apparently.

The new parts spawned may have 0 mass or something at the instant they spawn and then mass applies after momentum, which causes fun and terrible Space-OSHA incidents to happen, like 20,000 kg of nanocarbon deciding to attempt to break orbit when you cut the last attachment, crushing you under something attached to it.

So... Snowrunner. I'm axle deep in a mud pit out of winch range from everything. Also the steering is atrocious, which I assume is because it's an xbox port. But I'm going to dig more mud holes tonight with my rear axles because I might have finally gotten bored of Fallout 76.
