That actually does sound really interesting, I'll check it out with low expectations, the spoilered stuff you said especially sounds neat.

It was watachable and there was a second series late last year. In the UK version at least, they make it pretty clear that the government hasn't actually given them access to all the traffic cameras etc. but the producers will feed information to them to simulate the sort of surveillance they would have access to, and then it's presented as 'We've just got a hit on Darren's wife's phone!" or whatever.

Yes, exactly. It needs to be more gamey and artificial, not less. Like a free-range American Gladiators.

What's Glitch like?

And how has People Mysteriously Return From The Dead But They're Not Zombies become its own genre?

Why does Patriot keep prominently showing Prague landmarks including one of the most famous bridges in world when it's meant to be set in Luxembourg?

Great show though, thanks for all the recommending.

American Gods is just a remake of American Graffiti, right?

No, it's a spin-off of The Americans.

It's more like Serial than anything else. The narrator is channeling Sarah Koenig throughout, and some scenes are basically straight up parodies of things that happened in Serial.

You definitely don't have to have seen/listened to any of those shows to enjoy it though.
