sorry i'm late to the thread but FAK i am disappointed you didn't go with my knockout thread title idea. I'm still working through FF9 and goddamn I forgot how much time your party spends split and how far into the game you get before you're able to get everyone together and the go-ahead to explore the worldmap.

Playing Tomb Raider Legend for the first time in 10(?) years, and either the PS3 port is poo poo or it controls worse than I remember. But man it's nice to play a TR game that's okay making jokes and being a bit light hearted after the last two po-faced I'm serious and gritty grrrrr outings.

I've honestly never seen a game series with bigger licensing and IP rights issues like Double Dragon. Isn't it all split up between different people or is there actually someone with full rights to the license?

As far as I know Majesco has owned it for a long time now, they just loan it out to tons of totally unrelated developers with varying levels of success. You might be thinking of Technos' library in general, which got parceled out piecemeal when the company went under in the 90s. I know there are different parts of the kunio-kun licenese owned by different people, but only in some countries, which has to do with how the games were published under different brands here.
