Ask me about moons
Fact #1 The Moon is really cool
I think I finally realized that 9CL is a strip full of characters and plots that literally no one can relate to. Not even the cat. Don't ask why this took me until 2017 to realize.

Also geez, that is a hostile work environment in the Intelligent Life. Calm down and don't actively threaten your co-workers lady.

I generally like the cat strips in 9CL. I think the rest of the strip is terribly self-indulgent, glacially-paced, and I honestly can't imagine anyone looking forward to it, but the occasional "hallmarks of felinity" strips are fine. Related to what I was saying yesterday, they're less "funny" than "relatable", but I think it's perfectly fine for something's only function to be a pleasant reminder of something that makes you happy.

"Something's only function being a pleasant reminder of something that makes you happy" of course can be taken to its extremes, e.g. the conspicuous consumption of plastic junk targeted at nerds who build their lives around signifying to themselves and others that they Like A Thing, which brings us neatly to Intelligent Life. And, again, more credit where it's due: I think the secondary characters have improved lately. Why not show Gwen getting into fantasy football with Barry with the same hyperbolic zeal most of the cast shows for putting loving Boba Fett helmets on things?

I want to make a dumb joke but actually, this setup would be able to detect variances in local g! If you were to have a piece of elastic and a weight on the end, variances in local g would result in a larger/smaller cross section of the elastic :eng101:

It'd be way better with calipers instead of a ruler, though.

Alternatively, is there a way to save an image on Imgur without having to actually... go to Imgur?

Not sure about faster methods but you can just press Ctrl+V and imgur will read whatever is on your clipboard.
