He eventually gave up because of the nature of repeating everything after and it would take days or even weeks to do anything of consequence. Amazing.

Bloom County Bloom County was an amazing comic from the 80s that's not as fondly remembered as the Far Side or Calvin and Hobbes nowadays, but I think it's just as good as they are. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloom_County
