It would be really awesome if they did the same stuff Microsoft is doing with their backwards compatibility stuff. There are still some PS3 games I own that would be cool to play on PS4

The Wii U has the least amount of bullshit because you just put a disc in and the game works like the olden days.

I've played Brandish on a NA vita for what it's worth. Didn't have to do the PS3 transfer either.

Is Future Tone like a best of? I like rhythm games and I've kinda been interested in Miku and tried demos before but maybe there's song I would like more in the full version.

So PS4 is on a PC level of anything goes BS now as well? Microsoft accepting early access on consoles was the first step down that dark dark road

I've got a question for the Miku heads, project tone seems cool, I tried the two songs in the demo and I ready to get into this weird series finally I think. If I get the Future Sound + Colorful Tone bundle that's basically like, all the Miku songs sega has ever released? I may just go all in...

Apparently these games are going to have "online features," which, I dunno, mulitplayer? Leaderboards? Trying to think of a SNES or NES game that'd benefit from any of that.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy score attacks, and something like Super Bomberman with online multiplayer would be cool, but there's been so many other, robust solutions to those two things for so many years. Maybe some Nintendo-sanctioned ROM hacks? Or official translated games that never got released in the US? That'd be cool. There's precedent for translated games, after all - Sin and Punishment got an English release on the online Wii store.

Says here in plain English that the games are only free for a month

I don't think they did anything to that sin and punishment game, it was just a Japanese rom. Like Rondo of blood

They actually went and translated the menu textures and the tutorial/ending, but the subtitles are still in Japanese. It was a weird amount of effort that was only ever seen again when Sega translated Monster World 4.

Oh that's neat, I figured the English was already in there. I played that game a lot on Wii when they released it
