Man, Jazzpunk sure is something. I'm not sure if it's the most brilliant game I've ever played or the stupidest or both.

I lost count of how many of these I've lurked through but it's too many to stop now. Last movie of 2016 was Die Hard because I've been too sick/lazy to go out.

Technically the first movie I saw in 2017 was Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared almost immediately after the ball dropped, so I can't feel too bad about Maximum Ride.

blue squares posted:the rare triple negative, folks!! dont miss it That sentence has two different clauses, a single negative then a separate double negative. If you really wanted to nitpick a comma before the "but" might make it clearer but isn't necessary.

Like how people are divided it over. Surprised at videos i have seen criticizing it, then the video criticizing the comments criticizing the original critical video.

A lot of people are really upset that other people enjoyed Rogue One.

I think people also set the bar too high. I mean, I liked all of the Star Wars films so far, but we're talking about a franchise that's only produced two actual great movies and one is more important than actually great.

I like more Star Wars movies than I dislike. But the callbacks in Rogue One were bit distracting. Fun, if somewhat empty, adventure movie.

LORD OF BOOTY posted:The We Are Number One meme actually helped raise a shitload of money for his treatments, though, so that's rad. That is pretty rad. Lazytown is something I don't watch on account of being 32, but that guy really gives it his all and I would've loved the show as a child. And everyone who works on the show seems like they're nice people.

Coffee And Pie posted:Fun, if somewhat empty, adventure movie. For some reason I get the sense that some people wanted RO to ~mean something~ more than it did. I know that's a rather non-concrete way of saying it, but "A Star Wars Story" means just that - it's a story within the broader Star Wars universe - and it has a more defined Beginning and End to it. The fact that (spoilers) almost everyone involved exclusively in this film dies by the end lends credence to that.

Is Vimeo as restrictive about copyrighted music (or video, for that matter, though this might be less of an issue) as Youtube is? I have an idea but putting it on Youtube is gonna be a non-starter by default.
